I’ll try to gather a small funding to further develop one of my prototype into a game! You miss every shot you don’t take, ah ah! Thanks Itch!

Can I try with the free songs on your page?

It works flawlessly now! Glad I could be of help to help you sort this out fast, the game is quite good! =)

I have to open and close the menu to be able to controls the player. the screen stays darker and the ui is not shown, but is playable.

The game is stuck after the intro, I could not try it. =( Look great tho! I’ll try again later =)

Yeah I know it not the best behaviour to let the player fall of the map, but it was important for me to give the player as much control as possible.

I do assume the game feel being on rail as you can only go forward, I’m refactoring the procedural so it feel more like a solid project and the control given to the player is useful!

Thanks you for your comment! =)

I did not think about rain! that a great idea! The radio should appears sooner or later, stay tuned! :) Thank you for your comment, I did try to shape the game to be sort of hypnotic! =)

Fun and comfy take on Tetris!

Fun and chill idle game! like the concept of the ant placing the leaves! pretty fun! =)

Ah ah ah, glad you got fun out of the technical limitation of of my game!

A music player is an intended feature if I can find some artists, stay tuned! =)

Thanks for the comment! yeah the procedural generation is quite jank and cause many issues, sorry!

Did not know that ghost had their own wipeout games! Pretty challenging and fun!

I got lost coming back, pretty cute art!
Maybe add more decors to keep this huge map interesting to explore having visual marker to help find our way back. Had fun trying it out!

The mouse was too sensitive for me. Pretty introduction, not sure what I had to do. the game area was well done and the environment was charming. had fun exploring! :)

Thank you for your comment! The main goal is to enjoy the scenery but I did also wish to keep the controls into the player hands, hence why crashes are possible.

The car driving is not the best and it was the first time I created that feature. This inspired me to model the car after the first car I got, the Honda Accord 1987 hatchback, I promise you the actual handling is not that far from what I can remember, so it might not be skills, the car was trash, ahah! the only sound present is the engine…“the engine purr like a kitten”!

I do suggest playing with a controller because pressing a key on a keyboard is “0 or 1” with a controller the thumbstick can range “from 0 to 1” giving smoother turns.

Same with gaz and brake, the “L2,R2” have the same sensitivity, giving more control over the speed of the car.

Also if you download the game, you get vibration on the controller too!

Starting at night gives the feels of mystery of the surrounding, glad the game made you relax! :)

I think the game play better with a controller and the downloaded versions have controller’s vibration which I find quite soothing! =)

Cute, fun and comfy sokoban game, interesting story! pretty fun!

Thanks I also enjoy long ride at night because of the peacefulness of it!

Yeah, the world is deleted behind to optimize performance and for the web build to be fluid it was the farthest I could despawn each section.

The side road always come back at the same interval, you can always turn again later.

I’ll also pass the good word to my cat, she voiced the purple cat! =)

The radio should be an upcoming feature! Another jammer suggested her own music and was willing to ask other artists in her network to contribute so it feel like an actual radio station! You can look below for the details, it should be fun!

Nice game! you have went beyond the default sprite size! gameplay is solid. great take on the paper please genre!

Thanks!

Very cute, fun idea to add costume, maybe if holding the mouse to use to tool would be more comfortable. Good game!

Sure, The least I could do as of right now is credit everyone properly, and I would like to try to voice the host of the radio…

Something like “Welcome to CB 88.8, thank you for being there, next song is < name of Song 01 + artist>,<play song 1>,<song 2>, previously <Name song 2 + artist>, hope your are having a nice drive…

So on and so forth…It would be my attempt to make it feel like a radio station.

Sure I’ll keep that in mind! I’ll be more than happy to include your work!

An important detail for me is for it to be a radio I would need at least a few artists.

It is possible to reach me to barnabewild@canalbarnak.ca so if you know other musicians that would be interested (or anyone reading this), feel free to send me an email!

unique game, quite beautiful art, very comfy!

Thanks! I do enjoy jamming as a learning experience and establishing good vibe is part of that learning!

Glad you appreciated your time on the road!

I will consider chill music, it feel to me like a lot of work to find artists that would be willing to showcase their comfy music in my game, but if the opportunity arise I would make a radio feature!

Removing the road was a technical choice to keep the performance fluid on the web build, I think I have an idea how to fix that and the procedural generation to generate more paths, I’ll have to get on that once my schedule clears up a little more!

Very fun and beautiful game, calculating a year is a little long tho. Hover instead of carpal tunnel clicking is MVP for me!

I’m glad you appreciated the concept. as far I looked into it, Godot does not align exactly with the axis in 3D, not sure but I’ll look into it!

The map disappearing was a technical decision, otherwise it would be expensive on resources, I do have solution on the back burner. You can press start to restart.

For the music did think about it, and my conclusion for the jam was that you could start your own music, sorta like choosing your playlist before an actual road trip. But I like the idea of having a radio and would be very open to promote artists within my game!

Pretty good idea! nice art and coffee shop are the place to be comfy! Would be curious where it goes if developed further!

I played a lot of this game! it felt I could zone out and appreciate the growth of my tree between each choice. very relaxing I appreciated it! =)

Found all the cats!

Corn maze is very autumny! I liked the simplicity of the game, maybe if the cats could meow to give hint it would help orient the player in the right way. pretty fun! :)

Very comfy game! When you click the van very fast, the furniture push themselves out of the camera frame and block completion, I would gladly play more of a game in this environment, very beautiful!

Thank you for your comment! Sadly there is only one turn because it was my first attempts at procedural generation and my assets got misaligned and once it happens, the offset kept getting worse to the point that I did not find a reasonable solution for it within the game jam time constrain. The silver lining is now I know better the logic on how to implement the procedural and I do hope that I can fix this project to offer more paths and landscape to enjoy.

Nice narration, the ambiance was tense, very intriguing, I would explore more of this game!

Thank you I do intend to make more guided reading in the future to help most people.

The art is sure great! There were too many card for me to do during the jam so I used the Pixel Tarot Deck asset package by chee-seekins : https://chee-seekins.itch.io/tarot

Great concept, nice atmosphere! Very fun!

Thank you! I do hope to find time and motivation to build stories to have guided reading!

I don’t know why your entry was disqualified… The game is pretty tense, had a few jump scare and the controls were pretty responsive. Good game!

Thank You for your comment, we have all our own definition of what a game is, sorry it does not correspond to yours. I guess it’s not a black and white definition! =)

For it to have a purpose, you have to learn tarot or have reference nearby ready, it’s a complex game : The current layout presented is a cross where the bottom card read what leads you to the question. Then the upper card represent the potential outcome or result if you follow the reading. Then the middle cards reads in order the : past, present and the future.

Everybody interpret Tarot readings differently but you can get a basic grasp on tarot with this website :https://www.learntarot.com

Thank you for you comment! Playing around with the flexibility of the theme helps me creatively.
