Thanks for playing!! I'm happy to comment on implementation!

The diving / surfacing transitions are handled the way they are mechanically because in the timeframe of a game jam, I thought this would be the easiest and quickest way to implement it. Maybe I'm mistaken but it's my first time implementing such a transition, so I was trying to narrow the scope in order to go as fast as possible so we could start playtesting early.

Originally you couldn't walk up stairs to get on land so you had to use a ladder, but that limited level design, so we refactored so you could walk up stairs or ramps to get out of the water. So we spent extra time to pivot there in order to enable better level design!

Bingo!

Very well done puzzle game!! I got all the apples except the one behind the 30 pumpkin. Great job!!

Nice job! The graphics are really good!

Thanks for playing! glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much! Lots of hours went into it!

lol thanks for playing!

Awesome game! Can't really fault much about it honestly. good job!

Dang I thought we had the best main menu, but you might have us beat. Great job on the atmosphere and art especially. I love the space theme. I'd like to see a bit easier navigation between all the stations, but that's a small nitpick. Great job overall!

Started to get really into it when body horror stuff started up!! I'd recommend putting in some checkpoints, so you don't have to start over if you miss a symbol. Great work!

I managed to get to the end really quickly, and I never figured out how to use a crowbar. The art, music, and sound are really well done. Great job! Keep making games!

Nice graphics and pretty spooky!

Good job! Nice end game scene! Keep making games!

Nice job on the story and the graphics! It started to get painful to have to type and not being able to click through the dialog. Even, so still enjoyed it. Great job!

Despite this being really short, one of my favorites. It's creative and creepy.

ah, ok, i missed that pumpkin shooting mechanic

I found it pretty hard to get to 15, I wish there was a dash or something to avoid the skulls. Great job tho, I actually had fun with this one!

Amazing job, probably my favorite so far! Good writing and atmosphere!

I made it to the end! You did a good job working with the unshaded graphics, it fits the game. Great work!!

Nice animations! I think the cross needs more feedback on when it's doing damage and how far it's range is, stuff like that. Overall good job!!

Love the art!

This lady has too many doors in her house. I barricaded all the doors, is that the end of the game? One of my favorites of the jam so far. Great job! Nice music, i liked that it got louder as the game went on.

nice and disturbing! I had a hard time actually using the tools on the meat to accomplish the cutting tasks. Great job, keep making games!

Great art! When i got to the part about pressing some button to listen to your surroundings I couldn't read what button it was, the font was not easy to read for that character. Good job though, keep making games!

I had a hard time finding the spare key and figuring out how to actually drink the water bottle. Atmosphere and music is nice and spooky, good job and keep making games!

You got a nice base for a game here. Needs polish in a few areas like the UI. Great job, keep making games!

The monster looks really creepy! I had trouble figuring out what to do with the stick looking item in the room on the right. Great job, keep making games!

Great job on the art and environment! I would have liked more flashlight batteries, and for the gun to be stronger. Overall tho very solid game! congrats!

Great job on the environment and atmosphere, i was pretty spooked out. Loved the dithering effect getting more intense overtime. nice idea. Good job!

Great job on setting the atmosphere with the music, lights, blood splatters, etc. I didn't feel like I had a chance to escape the monster, he kinda just ran into me on day 3. Overall tho, really good job!

maybe next time don't park in the middle of 150 cop cars

Thanks for playing!

I'd say this is one of the best narrative-focused games I've played in a jam. The writing in particular is at a higher level than most jam games. I died on the battle after getting the shovel. I don't think any healing mechanics were introduced, so I'm not sure how i could have done better. Overall really nice job :)

Thanks for the feedback and I agree on those points!

10 million coconuts and a really bad sunburn later ... What did it all mean .... what are you gonna do with all those coconuts? You couldn't eat them all if you lived to be 1000.

I think the ffirst one took too long. He had 25 health and my bite did one damage.

nice short and sweet incremental!!! great job!

Interesting battle system!! The guy had a ton of health tho it took a while. Good job overall!

I had a hard time figuring out how to win. The minigame itself was but together pretty well from the presentation to the sounds. Good job!

Nice game idea! I think you could rework the controls a bit so you don't have to use the mouse. It would play a bit easier that way I think. but overall good job! and nice art too!
