I saw the game after voting ended and wanted to play it as the idea of interacting with the world only through listening sounded quite fascinating! It also reminded me a bit of The Curse of the Golden Idol :)

I enjoyed the investigation and the way you gave little pieces of information here an there! Top work, and the visuals are also cool: simple and stylish.

Sadly I got stuck whilesolving the crime (spoilers ahead): I understood who the murderer is, but I wasn't able to find his first name. I listened to all the dialogues multiple times and decided that maybe I was wrong about his identity. After I tried to accuse another person, I got the ending that it was wrong (of course). I had to check the solution where I learned that my first assumptions were correct! However the dialogue where you learn the murderer's first name never played for me (if I understood it correctly). I examined all scenes with E, and the scene where E. talks to A. (if this is the scene that was mentioned in the solution) has no dialogue. Should it have it? Maybe there is a way to trigger the dialogue that I didn't think of? Now this bothers me haha

Oh that looks fun! I got what anti rhythm meant haha

Thank you :)

thank you for your kind words!

thank you so much for your feedback! yes, a downloadable version would make sense, too bad wr thought about that after the submissions were locked :( I'm grateful that you have nevertheless tried the game!

thank you! the dogs know the way :D

haha thanks!

thank you so much! the third dog was there to bring some extra chaos :D

hi! we hoped that the dialogue/monologue would appear out of the blue, didn't expect it to be creepy however  :D

thank you so much for playing :)

thank you for playing! we are happy you liked it <3

thank you so much!

now I am interested in the anti-rhythm that he is making :D if you happen to have a link where I could follow the proggress, could you please share it?

thank you for playing! we hoped that this pacing would work :)

Ohh this Back to the Future reference!

A very enjoyable game, and I especially like that your take on a loop mechanic feels very smooth and comfortable — you feel engaged to go on and explore more possibilities and dangers, as both of them seem fun :)

The art style is awesome, the main antagonist is quite charismatic in particular! And the little detail with the names on the wall is also impressive.

I can't think much of any suggestions as everything seems solid. One minor comment is that it is not immediately clear that there are several items in the sink cabinet — they look like a "whole" because of the similar colors and I didn't expect it to be more than one thing :)

5 out of 5!

Such a cool concept! From the very start the music and the looping mechanic gets you immediately hooked. I also enjoyed the mysterious atmosphere you created, and that breathing behind your back is soo chilling *_*

I had some hard time trying to loop the song though :D First I wanted to rewind the song just with my mouse, but it didn't work. Then I tried to start the new song in a new window as the first had ended, but also to no avail :) Only after that I understood how it was supposed to work haha

However if you close the window with the lullaby completely, the monster doesn't activate at all :D I didn't use that cheat as it made no sense to do, but this was a surprise x)

Regarding the puzzles I think it is really interesting how you rely on audio hints and use different means to proceed. The only thing that I would love to know more about is who we are and what are we trying to do! You probably planned on revealing it later is it is just a demo, but it would be really exciting to learn why these files are locked and what is our goal in unlocking them. Maybe we could do something with the creature after we learn the whole story?

A very solid entry!

What I thought was meant as a rage quitting game turned out a polished game with fun gameplay, great attention to details and nice plot twist.

At first I closed it when I saw how sensitive my mouse was. Then I saw in a comments that this is adjustable with settings and returned to the game. After several burned pancakes and no clue what to do I closed it one more time. Then I noticed something about the story in the comments and opened it again. During that time I also saw that you can change cooking style from toggle to hold which was game changer for me - cooking became an art, not frustration.

After that I decided to take a walk and saw the level - and it is really well done regarding the details with the cameras and fake trees. That sparkled questions like "What is going on here" and "Who need so much pancakes". And then I became immersed.

I don't know how you managed to do this in 4 days, but this is art. Way to go. Thank you for this experience.

One note - scroll wheel did not seem to work for me, I had to do some fancy pirouettes to serve my lovely pancakes.

thank you so much for playing and your feedback!

this is a good point about mixing up the keys, we'll think about it! there is a different set of keys to be used with each dog, but I suppose it can be a bit confusing when the music goes faster.

thank you for playing <3

yeah, hard mode is there to bring some pain for those who want it :D thank you so much for playing!

thank you so much! we are happy that you had fun :)

A cool take on the theme! Reminded me of Anne Boleyn a bit (if she had some magic skills :D).

I managed to get two endings: regrowing a limb and killing the prince after running out of sanity . Wonder what other two might be!

As a suggestion it would be awesome to have more branching as you follow different paths, so that the loop might feel a bit longer. Apart from that everything seems very solid!

The concept is interesting and the minimalistic visuals are quite pleasant! I also liked the idea you are sending here, but without text description I would probably not get it just from playing :)

I probably wish that there was more variety in the gameplay, as right now it looks more like a task that you have to fulfill and it might get a bit tiring on the way.

I also pressed "play" and there was a hard mode on default that I didn't notice, and I was shocked by the size of the map!

Adding some boosters, additional points of interest to the maze could make the journey more exciting, in my opinion :)

ahh thank you for the hint! I got the ending, yay :)

thank you for playing and embracing the chaos :D yeahh dachshunds are cool :)

that's a great result! thank you for playing our game :)

thank you so much for playing!

and your dog is just adorable :) such a respectable boy!

ohh thank you, you absolutely don't have to, but if you do, i'd be flattered :D

Wow that was something special! I am impressed with your implementation of the theme. Feels so smart and fresh! I had fun solving the puzzles (and a bit of stress as I had to type really fast :D) Maybe a couple extra seconds for typing (or climbing) would be great to have haha

I think I would only wish to know a bit more about the character! Or maybe I wasn't attentive enough to understand why we are cleaning up x)

A question about the ending: is there anything else I can do after never***** screen or is this the actual ending?

Such a great job!

Being a fan of point-and-click puzzles I must say that this is a stunning game! And the theme is neatly implemented.

I needed some time to get myself around controls, but after everything went smoothly. I liked the narrative, game progression and lots of little tasks you are presented with! My favorite *spoiler* is that you can use one of the items in two different ways, that is so smart. The hints were clear enough to proceed without getting stuck. My only critisism that is not actually a critisism is that the game is so short! I would love to solve more riddles like that :)

I hope more people will play your game in this game jam, it deserves that!

ahaha of course, just one more!

thank you <3

thank you for your feedback! starting with the hard mode is definitely a challenge :D

aww thank you so much!

thanks!

I am happy you had fun! Thank you for playing :)

thank you so much for playing!

thank you so much <3

Got 4 out of 4! Was not 100% sure about the birthdays though :D

I particularly enjoyed how every riddle required you collect several bits of information and was not straightforward. Great take on the theme, and the characters are fun to learn about! Would looove to have more levels :)

I really liked your idea for this game. It is spooky and mysterious. Great submission :)
Navigation was a problem though. I did try to play a few times and I could not find things that my character was talking about. And also these dark things are always in the way where you need to go.
I am looking forward to play this game in a finished state!

A sweet simple puzzle! The color palette is very pleasant. I disturbed the cat on purpose to see what will happen, and I must say it is quite tempting to wake up the cat to play with it :D

The design is super polished and the cats are adorable! The running sushi concept is also something that immediately gets your attention :) I probably wish that the gameplay was a bit less random as I got some orders in the beginning of the game that I couldn't afford, and it is hard sometimes to predict which cat is going to eat which food. Maybe it would be nice to have several levels where at first there is few cats and orders! I ended up serving random meals and my cats were always about 44% happy without changes.

All in all, a beautiful entry!

Such a cool idea! I needed some time to understand what I was doing (at first I thought that I was to combine only the same colours to make loops...), but after that things got easier :) A very relaxing gameplay loop!

It would be awesome if the tutorial was implemented in the game itself, so you could understand what you are supposed to do right away while practicing :) I also got a bit confused at first as I thought you have to click on a yarn to start crocheting, not on the hook itself :D The cat was a sweet addition, though it didn't seem to be that much of an obstacle! And I would probably prefer to know the size of the blanket that is required while I am crocheting — but it is probably because I am not that good at it :)

A very nice game! It can get you hooked for a while :D

A sweet and pleasant game! Got to solve all 17 levels, and I liked how none of the levels make you suffer or spend too much time solving them — there is always some subtle way to understand which way it is better to go :)

The pug is also adorable! And the theme is nicely implemented. I had lots of fun!
