The defense building mechanic was a little difficult to work. I ended up just building as many squirrel turrets as I could at the very beginning and just racing as far ahead as I could. I didn't see any way to accumulate more money after that, so it was just a waiting game until the squirrels won for me. Maybe there was another defense that would have helped?
Overall, I liked it. A bit more time to work out some of the details, and this would make a neat full game.
I like the concept and I think this has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I had to come back to the comments to figure out the fake wall. Putting it at the beginning of the second level with no visual indicator is a poor choice. I also wasn't a fan of the camera movement. It was too shaky and left me feeling a bit nauseated so I had to quit after the third level. Still, I think with a bit of polish and play testing, this could be a really fun game.
Really enjoyed this one! I might set it full screen on my phone and just let it play while I work. Nice relaxing background music and soothing visuals. Great work. I'd love a save feature so I could come back to this. An auto mode that adds and removes circles would be nice too, although at that point I might just be asking for a screensaver...
The little wave the crab did at the beginning was fantastic. The hunger meter seems to go down a little too quick in the beginning. You might consider spawning more food closer to the shore early on to let the player get a bit more comfortable and slowly ramp up the difficulty once they're hooked. Really nice concept, and well executed!
Definitely an interesting concept, and I enjoyed watching the shapes as they were drawn. The only issue I had is that I didn't really feel like I was developing an intuition for what shapes I could expect from the different combinations. After a while, it felt like I was just trying different combinations until one clicked rather than solving a puzzle.
