How does the game fit the theme?
in the game you collect as many biscuits as you can while fighting enemies in the sewers, and decide how much risk you’re willing to take by entering double risk rooms for twice the biscuits but twice the danger for example and At the end of your run, you can return safely to base with your stash or gamble it all for a chance to double your biscuits!
if you lose all the biscuits you collected in your current run
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
we have made all the assets
background music "8bit Dungeon Level" by - Kevin MacLeod

It all started off so sweet — little chick, I figured maybe it got lost and just needed to find its way home :)
Turns out? This chick doesn’t play around. Smacked those sneaky cats right across the ears - no mercy!
Such a fun, clever concept had a blast playing. UI’s clean, sound design’s on point.
Yeah, it was a bit tough at first, but once you get the hang of it? The levels start clicking smoother and smoother every time. Loved the combat system, seriously well done.
Awesome work, keep it up!
I didn't expect blood and gore after seeing the cute character design; it reminded me of Happy Tree Friends :) The later stages are challenging. Well done.
I love how cute the main character is. This was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the game was a little hard for me. I plan on coming back to this, though. I just need a little break. Well done though. Great work!
The main characters and enemies are very cute! However, it's quite difficult for a player who isn't very smart like me. I only got as far as stage 3 at most and couldn't get past that. Keep up the good work! :D
The combat was pretty fun and the visuals and sfx added some nice game feel. However, it was so challenging for me that I always died before being able to enter one of the double risk rooms.
Still, well done!
Nice job making all the assets! The combat felt good, especially slicing em up! I do see this as a potential full steam game, but l will let you know this game was noticeably slow on my pc, optimization issues are of course acceptable for a game made within a week, but just thought I'd mention it if you plan to go further with this. Love the soulslike mechanic :P
I liked the main character and the roll they do. To improve, maybe reduce the difficulty as I found my self getting overwhelmed by enemies that give me no option to attack and only dodge.
Such a cute duck and congrats on the amazing job you did on this game. Especially considering you two made all the assets, that's a huge deal! Full stars across the board :)
Some things are a bit too quick — but I say MAKE EVERYTHING FASTER!! I love this game and I love the slighty frantic nature there is to it.
aaaa thank you! It really makes me happy to hear that :D
We are already thinking about continuing to work on the game after the jam.
By the way, Did you remember to click save on your rating for the game? Because the rating number didn't increase after your comment :3
When you rate a game you need to press save rating
I really like it, just maybe make flash for attack for the first enemy a bit easier to see or bigger or something. Since it is really hard to dodge and I like that, but with bigger/easier to see flash it would be more fair I think. Other than that, pretty good. Looks amazing and good job on making all the assets, they look really good.
Maybe make cookies fall a bit faster too.
Overall, really nice game, well done
Good luck in game jam :D
Fun game with interesting character models. I think there could be a few adjustments to the speed of things - for example, the dash is quite fast compared to things like the biscuits falling out of the bag.
Great dynamic game! Love the feel of the impacts. Maybe just pick more upbeat music for the levels?
Cute and cool game, wish it had checkpoints because it's a little hard.
Great game!
That was fun but hard. Couldn't figure out how to save my cookies for a while though. The instructions on the wall only said "hit to save cookies in the jar". For anyone else reading this, you hit ESC and then select Main Hub. It costs cookies to do this, but it does keep them in the jar persistently.
you should not be able to save them until you get to the last room of a run. It's a rougelite game, if you die during a run you lose all of the biscuits from your current run :3 if you where able to return to the hub in the middle of a run and still save some biscuits it's a bug haha, it should not be possible (I guess we could say "it's not a bug! It's a feature!" Tho, so yeah Haha)
It was a good game and the fact that you made it in seven days is really impressive. I liked the characters and their animations, especially their deaths, but the game was a bit difficult to control for me. Maybe I wasn’t a good player.
Great game. I found the game a bit difficult, and the idea of the cookies in the jar wasn't that obvious either. It's a fun game, with good animations and good AI, and it has good potential.
Honestly, going for a souls-like game adds quite a fun game loop. It is a bit hard, but i think making it any easier would remove the fun. Great work
you don't know how happy this comment made me aaaaa. Thank you so much!!!
Although the audio was the one thing lacking some polish for the game, I thought it was actually a pretty good experience all things considered. The combat system was easy to follow, the ai was well designed and implemented, the game having a lot of branching paths is cool to go through, the environment was interesting all around. Great job all around, congrats on your game!
Great keep going
