The vibe was very fitting and amazingly crafted! Well made 👏
Bro mark is playing your game rn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IE3zR9C_n9I
You totally nailed it on the creepy feeling.
Winding up the torch didn't feel like it had much of a point, I thought it was gonna play more of a role but even so it's an interesting little experience, and well done on not slapping a cheap jump scare in at the end XD I was expecting one the whole time haha
Everything is cool except charging the flashlight
I really enjoyed playing and found the story really interesting!! my only gripe is having to continuously charge the flashlight + the flashlight charging sound got a little annoying. had fun though!
Having to charge the flashlight was a bit tedious but I liked the vibes. Also, no audio was playing on my end for whatever reason.
That was really great! I was really immersed and the story was really neat! 10/10
I managed to get both endings, and the narrative twists at the end were so cool! It leaves me with so many questions and wishing for more! And charging the light was such a cool mechanic, I only wanted more to be done with it - like maybe enemies being attracted to the light?
nice game blud
The atmosphere is so immersive, and the plot is fantastic. I love this game!d(゚∀゚d)
It's a really interesting and atmospheric game, I really enjoyed it. The story is up for interpretation, I like that. The visuals were also amazing.
Keep up the good work!
Very nice! I like the light charging mechanism, but I wish the level-failure and level-completion indicators would be different to avoid confusion.
I had one of these flashlights as a kid. The game made me think back on those times when I was charging it nervously in the dark. I think that idea of physically resisting the darkness and fatigue fits the narrative really well. Nice work!
The story is really unique and unconventional. If I'm guessing right, is the player trying to get back into their own body? Overall, it's really cool, though.
You are right, the light in game symbolizes real world while hero is locked in his head.
Definitely not what I expected going in. Nice job!
really creative approach on this! ( to be honest, I do agree with another post on it being difficult to tell at first if it was the level restarting or the light going out ) -- nicely done :)
Well made game, normally I don't like horror or scary games, but I lived yours, and I can totally see, it being released as full feature indie game with more contents. Regardless given the time constraint this is exceptionally well. I loved the idea that every iteration room changes giving providing some insight to the story.
All around solid game! The mood/setting is well executed and the theme of 'loops' is clear and present. It's also nice to see some story elements being implemented along with the gameplay. Solid work and great submission! :)
I like creepy mood of this game it rare to see in this jam.
Great job at setting the mood, it's always nice when someone dares to try a darker atmosphere in a gamejam and you pulled it off quite well :)
