I'm always a fan of certain level of ambiguous-implications, so absolutely loved when "Something follows" just appears in the screen and a random knock right in my helmet/ear. Chills, very good atmosphere, sad there wasn't (at least for me) anything at the built up, but maybe I just got lucky to find the way out quickly. Might be also that I think I encountered a bug where even if I was running, my BPM just kept going down (until it was as low as it could). But I ain't complaining, chill little experience with a moment of terror of not truly being alone. Loved the movement, it was kinda just fun to jump around and while I wish there was more to the environments/graphics, the moon is pretty much just like that so like suppose you did nail it. Good job.
I love that feeling of being alone on a giant, lifeless rock and still feeling like there's "something" stalking you.
The feeling of actually being inside the space suit was amazing, the movement, the heart rate, and the air mechanics all added so much immersion. It felt very polished and smooth to play. I kind of wish it had been a bit scarier, maybe something like an alien creature in a cave or a moment of real danger, but I get that it’s more of a psychological horror, and it pulled that off really well. Overall, I just loved this game. Great job!
The game has an interesting idea. There is a good atmosphere. On the moon, you are alone but you feel the presence of someone else, and the oxygen is running out, which adds even more stress. But the game isn't really that scary. But overall, it's a good job.
The realism pleasantly surprised me! The oxygen/bpm counter is a clever stamina system. The tunnels definitely had me very tense. My only complaint would be how far the player had to walk for each section. Giving the player a moon rover (even if you kept the travel time the same) would likely make the traversal much more tolerable/fun. Awesome work!
Thanks for the feedback and for checking out the game - I think if we'd had more time we would've liked to have given the player a little more to do and think about whilst walking as it can be a little tedius even with the entity following
Cool Idea! It reminds me of that “something bad is on the moon” game. Nice atmosphere as well. I like how we really see from the players perspective. (helmet, embed ui etc..)
The scope is also big for a week long gamejam in my opinion. I think this game could be much better with some polishing but overall I enjoyed this game.
Thank you for the feedback- I just had a look at that something bad is on the moon game and wow they are a bit similar aren't they. Really appreciate you checking out the game!
Thank you for the fun experience too :) Would you check my game and give me a small feedback too? It would really help!
Very atmospheric, that sense of "something isn't quite right", not too over the top. 9/10 i wish i wouldve gotten the shadow goober more, didn't let me sequence break
Thank you!
LOL i both escaped and died at the same time by making it just as my o2 ran out :P
I very much enjoyed being on the moon the environment was very well done and really felt like I was on the moon. I think the game mechanics could benefit from a little physics integration with velocity and momentum being ways to preserve oxygen in low gravity but I liked the idea behind the mechanics and I think the design of the game makes it very clear to the player exactly how their actions reflect on the goal so that was very cool
Yeah it would've been great to implement that level of polish to the game. I guess just your dead body escaped lmao
