This was a really solid entry, and it deserved to be in the top ten games.
Thanks a lot for your kind words :)
I was told to make a joke about robots humping the care. But I think that'd be in quite bad taste. I did enjoy the game, definitely would second the recommendation to play with headphones
Huh?) Anyway, glad you enjoyed the game, thanks for the feedback! :D
This project was definitely made by someone from the United States. Driving a tractor and getting a jumpscare is very original, haha. Good job! The only thing I noticed was a slight bug where the tractor flipped and I went off the map. I don't think there's a collision in the barn if you try to reverse, and I really only did it to see if the robots would follow me. Stunning the robots was a bit difficult, but I loved the atmosphere, the sounds, and the classic-style graphics. Congratulations!
Thank you for playing! I will definitely continue working on this game and try to polish it after the jam is over, when I have some time. I appreciate your feedback a lot.
Also, I’m not from the US, and I’d like to know what made you think that, haha :)
I quite liked the game's concept. Unfortunately, the rendering was strangely pale on my computer. I play on Mac. But the trailer gave me a good idea of the visuals. This trailer is a great idea; it really makes you want to play.
Very sorry you couldnt play it properly on your device. I've added mac version, but unfortunately didn't have anyone to test it, so I'm not sure how it works. Have you tried web version though? I think if you try to play it in browser it should be fine.
Interesting concept! The way the robots crawl all over the tractor was pretty freaky and the camera mechanic was straight forward. It could have been funny to show all the photos you took once you get to the bunker. I did end up driving into the radio tower on the my first playthrough, flipping over and driving under the map but that could have been avoided 😅
Thanks for leaving a feedback! Maybe if I continue working on this game, I should definitely add this feature, haha
Voice acting was really solid. It’s actually a very good game with a very high potential to be developed in a bigger and a more polished game! Great work, dev!
Thank you!
Pretty interesting idea. The sound design is the best part.
Thanks for playing!
Interesting idea! I really like the audio here, i was scared and stressed, focus on way focus on robots. DAAMN Good job!
I think the audio effects were used brilliantly — the sound of robots colliding, the clanging metal, and… well, everything!
I don’t have a headset (I’m broke, damn it), so I couldn’t test it properly in a full audio setup, but even with speakers, I could really feel it when something hit the tractor or when a robot was approaching.
I could even tell exactly which direction the sound was coming from!
The time limit for using the camera also felt just right — perfectly tuned to keep things thrilling without being frustrating.
Someone with a great voice seemed to be doing the narration at the start, but since I’m not very good at English listening, I couldn’t fully understand it.
(I did catch the part about using the camera and not dying!)
I was able to check the rest of the details on the Itch page, so it wasn’t a problem at all.
Still, if you ever consider it, adding subtitles to the opening narration would be amazing!
Many people — like me — are better at reading English than listening to it.
Thank you for your amazing feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!! I was going to add subtitles, but I couldn't figure out how to make them at the moment , so I had to leave it as it is, unfortunately. Loved your game btw, I didn't have time to write a proper comment, but just know that your game was definitely in my top 5 games I played on this jam so far :)
I love so much about this game! It was amazing! The graphics are great, the gameplay is fun, and I felt pretty scared while playing!
However, you might want to fix a *tiny* little bug where the robots manage to gang up on you and start pushing you around, overturning your tractor, making you start driving up towards space and then falling back down onto the ground repeatedly...
Thank you for playing! Yeah, I should probably add some weight to tractor, so it doesnt get pushed as much, o maybe remove robots ability to affect it at all
Straightforward gameplay with a fun challenge! The atmosphere is already great, but adding some more ambient sounds or maybe radio style music could make it even better. Really impressive work for a first game, well done!
When they said AI would replace us I didn't think it would be like this, but seriously this is very creative fun and thrilling little game, the only thing I would say is explain that the robots need to be on top of your car before taking the flash
Thanks for playing! There's actually a sound indicators coming from the back of the tractor and knocks on the roof that you can hear whe nan enemy climbs and preparing to attack you that you can hear, especially if you play with headphones
Very simple, yet effective at creating a tense atmosphere! Really good job on the audio side of the game. The only part that was a bit overwhelming and confusing was the ambience when crossing the bridge.
Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback!
Colleague, you've made a great game for this game jam. Believe me, every time you make a new game, it will only get better and better! Congratulations on your project!
Hey man, thanks for feedback! Just played your game and it was very fun as well!
Congrats on your first game! The balance feels pretty good and I really like the sound queue for when a robot was on the tractor but not yet attacking. I was a bit confused at first and assumed I needed to use the flash before the robots got on the tractor so you may want a bit more explanation for that but I got it on a second try. Great work!
Thank you very much for playing and leaving your feedback! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Pretty good game overall, felt like it could've used a bit more variety in the robots, but that doesn't really dock any points. Ended up experiencing a bug where the tractor ragdolled off the main track, so I wasn't able to complete the game. But I enjoyed what I was able to play!
Thanks you
Cool atmosphere. I love the dialogue at the beginning, there aren't enough games with spoken lines. Nice work!
Thanks a lot for playing!
Great stuff, love the simplistic but memorable robot design. Something what i feel could elevate the game even more is maybe adding some velocity to the tractor when it stops? Like it stops so suddenly if you stop moving, and also some intense music (maybe something with a banjo) would really help. Overall great first game, waiting for more !!
Hello there. Thank you very much for playing and leaving your feedback! I agree, adding some music would probably make a better atmosphere. For the velocity, honestly I made controls as simple as possible (because I'm still not very familiar with unity haha) but that's something that I should add as well, thanks :)
Cool game idea! Loved the animations!
Thanks!
Incredibly easy for me, but I see others struggling with the game so I don't know its probably just me. Very cool. Although if you do update this game, I would try to make it where when it reaches a certain amount of robots following you, to delete some, maybe make a max amount of robots alive variable or something. Just after a while, it was SO loud from all the footsteps, and it tanked my fps a little.
Hello, thanks for feedback. Yeah, the game gets very easy once you get the controls and how it all works, it was not intended to be too challenging. For enemies, I actually have a function that deletes them when they are far behind, but I believe you're right about adding some kind of spawn limitation for them as well. even though if you complete it with a normal pace, there shouldn't be many enemies around, unless you're standing still.
Thanks for playing :)
