The Sprite work here is very nice and charming!! I can totally see the ENA inspiration too.

the controls are mostly pretty good but I think you should have a look into coyote time to make it more smooth, but apart from that pretty nice and I like that the rabbits boost your jump height a bit it seems. it ties the collectathon aspect to the platforming style quite nicely.

The style of the music fits the vibe of the character but I would like if the loop was longer and also and the second level it appears to be clashing restarting over and makes it hard for me to continue playing.

but pretty good effort all round though!! :-D

Nice! reminds me of space channel 5!

Sure thing!

- being able to make choices

- being able to adjust text size

- accessibility features: screen colour tint and option for a dyslexia friendly font, like open dyslexic for example

- different colour text per character speech

- multiple endings

I'd totally be down to play a text based game, I would also buy but I'd expect it to be cheaper than a graphical game. I think music and animation to the text adds more value to it and makes the experience more interesting

Welcome to BeatCure!

Check in your songs today to cure them of nasty germs!

In this rhythm game you can upload your own music and it will make a beat map in real time!

Press Q to destroy green germs, W for pink and E for blue.

Thanks for your time!

Fun stuff! quite polished dress up game and I like the funny backgrounds, dance option with the changing text. Though I would prefer that the music doesn't change when you select a new body part.

Great sound design in this! the tutorial is good and i feel the level is well designed naturally to where the player is likely to explore first. what I would like though is if the environment had more recognisable land marks, but I appreciate the most important one, the goal is highlighted in a different light, I'd like if you did the same effect for the items. I Like that you get more control over the flashlight than other games I've played that have a flashlight mechanic. But in imo i feel you might benefit from switching the controls to wsad for movemnt and mouse for flashlight, as the flashlight controls feel a bit restrictive

Thank you! different bugs are a good idea. I did think bout rotating the mirror so that bullets have different directions but it was too late in time at that point, so I'll have a think about it after

YOOOO! Thanks so much for playing!

Insane polish, and amazing art and sound direction. It's very well designed. Great Job!

I'm very sorry but I'm not sure if I've gotten to endings or not, But I do like the idea of what you're going for, from what the game looks like it's trying to be, it reminds me of your turn to shine which is one of my favourite games.  I do think the music choice is good and the art has a good style too

Thanks Twin

The Thumbnail is good I like it. the style of this is mostly very good I fuck with it, though I will say the scene on the bus is hard to make out, but since it was only just that one image that was hard to read I've still given it a 5 in aesthetics not to worry! I really like concept of the puzzles here, but I wish it was utilised a bit more, or maybe I just didn't notice items idk. if you flesh this out it'll be a banger

Thanks for playing! I can totally see what you mean! if you're curious my inspirations were deltarune, deadspace and faith. also a game one of my friends made called the sixth

I really adore this game. no joke this is the best thing I've played on the site. it's so creative! Great Job!

Solid game, I really like games like this and it's very well made. I'll be coming back to it

peak recognises  peak

the bad ending is my favourite one, so I’m forcing everyone to get it on the first play through lol >;)

thanks for playing all the way through despite the difficulty, a lot of people are having trouble with the controls so I plan to have an option to change it to arrow keys

(1 edit)

thanks for playing, I understand people are used to arrow controls, but I just wanted to experiment with something different, it’s also supposed to represent the movement of her looking around her mirror by dragging the mouse around. Arrow key is too quick and disjointed to match the movement of her eyes.I also wanted to experiment with a new way to challenge people who have experience with these kinda games. But a lot of people find it frustrating so it seems like an arrow key option setting is a must do.

Thanks so much for playing! I was intending for the top and bottom to be difficult in that way, but intend to make difficulty options as I’ve had mixed opinions on the difficulty - so on an easier difficulty I will make space bigger.

I’m very sorry about the mouse, I was actually trying to make the hit box bigger from getting feedback but it was too late in time to restructure the levels to accommodate this and also for some reason it broke when you replayed? Idk what happened. I’ll have another stab at trying to do it again after

I really like the sound of this! I'll be sure to get to this once the submissions open to view

Wow! Thanks so much for playing and giving feedback! I really appreciate it! I will have a think about the shield idea

thanks for playing and letting me know! I’ll try and see if I can fix this before the jam this is for is over. I can also tweak the levels to be easier but that might take some time. I do plan to come back to it.

Yes it's most likely an issue with forward+, I would use compatibility mode if possible as it can run on more hardware, but it also disables some features, especially ones that are more commonly used in 3d games than 2d.

I really like the presentation and sound design here! the dialogue is very charming and I like the relaxing causal feel the game has. I did find a little confusing when I needed to get a drink, as I went over to the glass on the table first, but I did figure it out and also there seems to be an issue with the volume slider as from half way down the slider and onwards it's silence, but it didn't impact my experience with it. Nice work!!

Really love the aesthetic and art style of this one, and I like seeing the character get it's new upgrades, really feels like growth. I really like your guys take on the theme! I would've liked a bit more control over some of it's abilities like the projectiles and I think it would've been helpful to have some kind of health bar or indication the enemies are getting low in health. Good Job!

The art style and aesthetic is really nice and while I do enjoy the game play it felt a little too easy until the last level. I also would've liked if the giant bug at the end fought back a little bit in the end sequence, but I do like the change in game play style at the end as it keeps things fresh. Great Work!

Nice little bullet hell style game! controls nicely. Very good effort put in for a beginner. I think adding sound effects and music would add to the experience. I also think you should space out the meteors a little more since sometimes I get hit with 3 at once and die instantly and would be nice if there was a mode where you can see your hit box and a bomb style attack like touhou when you're surrounded by the meteors.

Good Job!

This is crazy impressive, especially for a beginner! the art, music and level design are excellent! I would've liked if I could WSAD instead of arrow keys, but it's not a big deal. Great Stuff!

The game fits the theme really well and the art is so good! the controls feel quite stiff and frustrating at first but is worth it for the pay off when you master it and actually begins to feel very smooth. I also really like the changing the sound when you get better at flying it was a good indicator that I was doing something in the right direction. I would've like if the egg opening sequence was sped up as it does feel a little sluggish especially on repeat runs. Good Job!

I really liked the aesthetic and art style, it reminds me of tic80! the sound design is very good, especially the buttons. Though i was a bit confused at first about what to do, I do enjoy the gameplay, but I do think it would be easier to managed if each panel was managed by different key inputs. I'd also think it would add to the experience if the music got a bit more chaotic with each new plane introduced, like it has an audio channel introduced with it. Great work!

Love this game, the art style is great and I liked the mini games, I see the wairoware inspiration lol. would love to see more levels!

Sure! let me know when you've updated it

Really love the art style here and I like concept as well, i managed to win on my second try! I would've liked if there were more pop up window minigames, like the tic tac toe one and also chasing the mouse. it kinda reminds me of knuckle sandwich. Great Stuff!

I really like the structure of this game, where you get some of the story than do an escape room that's a good loop! while I do think it's clever idea to have the heart beat spell out the code, i tend to be quite tone deaf so i wasn't able to understand it unfortunately I'm sorry  , I would like if there was some sort of visual indication to help and distinctly different noises. I was also struggling to understand the X symbol as i thought it meant times like blank x green, would mean 0 X 8 = 0. I think it would be better if it there was some message saying like count green - blue for example, so that it's more clear to understand.

I also like how well you created tension in the story, the sound design and especially with the time limit of the final puzzle, I think that worked very well. and as I was replaying a few times to try and get to the end, i thought the humour of the speed run ending was well done with the sudden tonal shift.

also I encountered a bug where i was stuck in a loop talking to monika in case you weren't aware that happens and I'd also like Nyx to be expanded on as I didn't know what relation she was to the protagonist, guessing i thought she was monika's alter ego but nothing came of it.

overall good effort though!

Thanks for giving it a go! the reason i didn't put a restart button is because i couldn't come up with a design and animation for one in time, but thats actually a smart idea just to have a key short cut to restart, sorry I didn't include it

I think in the black and white sections, there could be atmospheric sound instead of music? To represent the same kinda theme through sound?
