Wow this one had such a cool design, really loved the segments of the books they were very atmospheric, and the writing was superb! It really transported me to that Victorian style of writing that I adore.

The ambience, and music was on point and so is the voice overs, rarely do I see voice overs as good as this.

This was a really cool metroidvenia style game!

Super fun to play! If you enjoy retro games with a twist this is right down your alley!

Mank this really feels like a super nintendo game! The plot twist really made it even more interesting I did not expect that turnaround of events that happened at the beginning attack on titan style but I welcomed it with open arms!

Great character designs, memorable and the sound effects were very appropriate and handled with care, great work overall would love to see more levels for sure! Maybe even a little overmap a la Supermario world?

Wow this was so well done! Man, it captured that feeling from bioshock so well that it had me excited for the puzzles and the conclusion of the game! Also, great use of lighting and great call backs to stuff like Half Life with the character models' man this was really well done! Great job!

The pixel art was really well done! I really loved how the world was slowly being consumed it really gave a sense of urgency! I think the whole idea of being poisoned by the entity is really cool and how it messes with your controllers. The sound was also used effectively with the music overall really good!

Note:

Some suggestions that I think would elevate the game. Add a reset button where the player maybe decides to end his run and start again that way he can go back and find more clues.

Another way that this could be achieved is by adding a mechanic so that when he's outside of the influence of the entity he regenerates and doesn't die, that way the player can strategize a bit better.

And maybe add an item that can give the player a longer duration of time inside the entity is territory.

Overall, really cool ideas!

I love the SCP's and there is so much potential, some of the stories were pretty fun, I noticed the beginning chapters were a bit obtuse because there were too many decrepitations between the dialogues.

Example:

You speak in a surprised and calm tone: "And there you are I've been looking all over for you, not really I just walked in."

By adding the "You speak in a surprised and calm tone" is not necessary in some instances because the reader can infer the emotion from the dialogue.

This is just a suggestion. But when using dialogue if you want the reader to identify the characters you can use colors or the name at the beginning.

Rick: Hey guys how is it going!

Aside from that it is a very good collaboration and there were some really interesting stories and concepts.

Is just for people now a days condensed text can be intense to go through if they are seeking a more nuanced experience.

Some images or sound would have really helped to portray an even more complete experience.

Wow the backgrounds and the character art for this was so well done it really sold the experience to me. I was standing in some rooms looking at how pretty the rooms were.

It really reminded me of game like Yume Nikki so that was a very spooky yet pleasant experience!

The effects and visual presentation was excellent! Loved how you used the music and the ui at the beginning to create expectation after that the game mechanics create a great foundation, from exploring to finding new rooms and some of those scenes were really cool! The one with the Pick really is something haha! Great stuff!

Never would have expected a flipper style game without the flippers, well more like ice hockey mechanics, and on top of that it was really interesting how your incorporated the theme! Great stuff!

Thank you so much Shrine! Updating coming in soon hopefully for this week expanding a lot of the lore and revealing more of the secrets of the town! So, if you found the rituals and religion interesting more is on its way!

Thanks again for the kind words!

Thank you so much! Already adding more to the town, hopefully for this week I'll have a substantial update, I already got various paths and different endings finished. I am hoping to deliver a more complete experience since I know this version is lacking some important paths to reveal the true story behind the town.

Thank again for the kind words!

Thank you so much for those kind words! I am already working on the rest of the game there is already a ton of new art made and different paths adding even more depth hopefully it will be more fleshed out and entertaining! Specially since I know there was a lot of the story still to deliver!

This reminded me of a game I used to play in 1995 and brought back a lot of memories, the controls on this game area actually pretty fun I loved the fact you can jump off stuff and get a boost it really made the game feel like a puzzle where you have to thing, and the whole thing with the platforms appearing and disappearing was pretty cool! Also loved a lot of the pixel art, good stuff!

Was trying to create a character as well, the menu seems to be broken in some parts but overall, I did like you had customization options most games don't have it so would have loved to see more!

Really loved the design of the game and the art direction. The use of the visuals was effective and really conveyed the story which to me is one of the most important parts. Really made me want to explore more! Great stuff!

I searched a bit and found this link to a program that may help you to create an exe for windows and other platforms Launch4j - Cross-platform Java executable wrapper I hope this helps!

Man, this reminds me so much of Luigi is mansion! Such a cool concept! And the whole thing were people start getting possessed that was awesome! Loved the theme, the style of the animations and the sound design. man, I wish you would have had more time to develop this it was already looking great!

In which engine did you make this? I see this is the data folder but not necessarily a distribution, if you need any help let me know I want others to try it to.

Really cool idea to be honest! The whole aspect of hunting for eldritch creatures with a camera sound so cool and you were able to implement it! Loved how the static warns you of the entity! Great stuff!

Can't wait to see the release of this game! The atmosphere, art and the whole world building is fantastic, i am going to hooked on this once it comes out!

Thank you so much for your kind recommendation and excellent review! I already have the continuation of the story made and will be adding more this next week!

Oh, you won't have to wait long! This next week I'm going to be continuing to flesh out the next chapter of the game, I even have most of the script done so the only thing left is the presentation and bug testing! So, hold that thought!

And thank you Marcos!

You won't have to wait that long! This next week I'm going to be working hard on getting the continuation and thank you so much for giving it a try I know is not easy trying out different styles of games so I'm always happy to hear someone try it and like it! And if this can be an inspiration to you in any way that makes me even happier!

I tell ya go for it!

I'll be trying out your game to! I'll leave you a review soon!

Thank you Luke! Will work hard on getting this one complete im motivated and not going to stop! Muahaha! You inspired me also to make an instruction manual so im going to see how that comes up XD

praise the shade brother! HAHhaha thank you so much for those kind words, I know it can be a bit difficult trying new styles of games so I appreciate you took the time to try it! I am so happy you were pleased with the color selection and the design that makes me really excited and I can't wait to keep expanding and adding even more choices and fun to the game!

Thank you so much I can't wait to finish the rest of the story I am going to be working on it this next week so that I can give it a proper continuation! I am so happy I was able to capture a feel like that of Undertale! That being one of my favorite games!

This was a fever dream! The visuals really put you in a mood, exploration was a bit difficult at first but once it got going it was really crazy and fun! Great stuff!

Really cool presentation, the music and audio were on point, the UI was great, and the overall feel of the game is so much fun! Love that noir feeling to it,

Overall, I had a blast playing this entry, really creative in it's own merits!

This is super addictive! The mechanics are planned out so well that I was caught off guard to be honest! The art direction was excellent and the way every works together from the stats to the upgrading system is just so professionally made, a fantastic job to be honest a great entry!

I just need to upgrade one more time hehehe.

Fantastic experience! From the beginning all the way to the end the buildup and atmosphere was on point! Loved how you used recordings from the start of the space era and how you incorporated the whole gameplay of protocol sequences and terminal I love playing with terminals, so this was so fun!

The ending was wow I won't spoil it for other players but it definitely evokes that Lovecraftian love. Excellent entry!

Wow I am so impressed by this game! The atmosphere, the graphics, the mechanics it was all so well put together! This game is a really cool adventure with tons exploration to be done, a la metroidvenia style which really peaked my attention, i think this game is one of the top in my list.

The only thing I would say is the lack of more sounds or maybe a musical score in some sections would have enhanced it even more but aside from that it was very efective! Great job!

Never would have thought of skating and eldritch horrors and yet here we are! Very creative idea loved the art direction with the characters and all. So great job overall!

Really enjoyed the idea of the long drive and encountering the horros of the deep, that final part was really creepy! Not going to ruin it for the ones that haven't tried it but really enjoyed where it all led! Great stuff and great models!

Was able to escape the creep following me, beat the eldritch monsters and gain my victory, full circle! Great little game!

A very interesting concept, really loved the idea of having the stats system and working your way through the story one page at a time while balancing the stats, loved a lot of the visual elements and the UI is really good! Great stuff!

Is true there were performance issues but aside from that is a great game!

There is something special about making crazy pizzas for the eldritch horrors in the deep hhahaha! Great use of colors, presentation and use of sound, the whole simulation is really entertaining I can totally see this being expanded upon you have a solid base!

The music and all the effects and elements make for a very soothing pizza making simulator! Would love to see more!

Thank you so much! Will keep working on adding the rest and expanding the lore, already got the story script pretty much done I just need to add them finishing touches. Always exciting to participate in these jams and finding new creators like yourself!

Thank you so much for those kind words! That really makes my day! I enjoy making stuff that doesn't necessarily feel like a visual novel, I love making more interactive adventure stories so I'm happy some of that came through!

This game idea is so cool! I really loved being able to find the pages and go through them and then draw the symbols to summon the beings was awesome! Just like everyone else though, Mutus, I could not summon him and I tried many different ways to no avail.

Great job though would love to see more!
