How does your game fit the theme?
The game does 3 loops through three short levels, adding more obstacles each time. It was originally going to rotate around to look like a mobius strip but it was super obnoxious, haha.

Loved the idea. The execution is sometimes frustrating. Even if its on purpose, its feeling "laggy". Maybe having a bigger framerate would be nicer ! Good entry :)
One of the most creative games I've played in this game gam! The mechanics are really unique! I had so much fun playing the final level. I like the feeling of failing at a certain point but soon overcoming it in the next try. So addictive!!
Thank you, very nice of you to try my game and leave a comment! I'm glad you got through the final level, I was hoping to capture that 'now use everything you learned in the previous levels' feeling. Thanks again!
I liked the rhytmic action and the dungeon crawler aspect! I feel like it's weird having the animations at a low framerate like this (or is the game having performance issues?), even though it's rhythm-based, i'd have the player move smoothly at increments. It's also slightly hard to see what's in front of you since the player can be blocking the view. Otherwise a nice entry!
Ha, the performance could be a bit of both - caused by low fps, but the grid shifting once a second was intentional, at least. If I do a 3D web-game next year, I'll have to either get that sorted, or also include a download just in case. I've also heard a few times it's hard to see what's next (especially in the middle column) so I'll play with the camera a bit. But thank you for trying my game anyways!
The game idea is very fun, but I feel like this game might have worked better in 2D. First I thought that the game has performance issues and that's why its lagging, then I realised that the grid based movement is intentional. But even if its a grid based movement I think it should be responsive.
However, this is a solid base to build upon, with improvements and some refactoring I think you got a golden idea and a game. Good job.
Yeah, there's FPS issues in some browsers, then some people were also thrown off by the grid shifting every second. I thought having everything update once a second would make it easier to play on lower-end hardware, but maybe I shot myself in the foot there, haha. I'll definitely have to go through everything after the jam and try again. But thanks for checking my game out and leaving a constructive comment!
Very cool game. But the frame rate was not that good. But the game itself was fun and challenging! Very Solid
Sadly the framerate was positively abysmal. But it was a cool version of a game like this. In most of them you just move side to side. The items here were interesting. I managed to get to the forest. I found the font hard to read but I guess that's my fault since I didn't check the "readable font" box lol i didn't realize that's what it meant at the time. Pretty great entry nice work!
Also I'd appreciate feedback on my submission if you get a chance!
Still, thanks for checking out the game, and I'm glad you eventually found the accessibility font option, haha. My main menu UI was already getting pretty crowded, so I wasn't sure what to name it in a short way. Thanks for trying despite the issues!
Creative game & I liked the ending! :)
I think the only downside is that I couldn't really play in the middle column because the character was blocking the tiles ahead of me, so maybe a more top-down view would suit this gameplay.
But overall it's a great submission, I could see myself playing a full version of this when the fps & camera angle is polished! Nice work!
Thank you, I appreciate it! Yeah, I'll have to play with the camera a bit. I also wanted to make the obstacles transparent when they got too close, but I was having an issue trying to set the transparency for my model setup, and I heard it might not be performant on web (which would make the fps even worse, haha).
Still, thanks for checking the game out and playing through it!
interesting experience. I do have some feedback though:
Other than that pretty good! :)
Yeah, that was the original idea - I wanted the levels to load in order to make 3 long levels instead of several shorter ones. The intent of the loops was to add a few new obstacles to each 'biome' to build up each loop, but it was probably too difficult to tell with how short and crowded the levels were. There is actually a button to move forward a step! It's the 'enter' button, but on the rare occasion it causes crashes when an object moves by too quickly and doesn't despawn properly, so I didn't mention it on the main page. Maybe I should with a warning?
Thank you for the constructive feedback! I'm really appreciative people are taking the time to play my game and leave it, so I know what I can do better for future jams :)
No problem! I hope you can use this feedback to make your game even better!
In the mean time, I'd love to hear your opinion on my game too! :)
Very accessible game and fun, I didn't quite understand where was the mobius strip thing. It was just a loop of 3 level for me but I still liked it. The only downside is the lagginess you explained in the description but I don't know how you can fix it. Another would be that I couldn't see clearly what was ahead of the chracater. It required me somes tries but I sucessed to beat the game and was really happy of myself. I really enjoyed it, thanks for your submission!
Yeah, I'll have to play with the camera and figure out why its frames are tanking on some web setups. On the mobius strip - I wanted to set up the levels to work more like one 3 loops through one long strip, but couldn't figure out a way to elegantly handle loading levels in time.
Great points here I'll work on in the future, I'm glad you still had fun, and thanks for leaving a comment! :)
cant play though to an fps issue looks cool though
Nice concept, I played in browser so that was not so smooth to play
Pretty cool concept! I like the idea of waiting one second intervals for each movement, as it gives you some time to strategize how you plan to move forward. I also liked the accessibility options (readable text, time loop circle) for players who need it, not many jam games do that! 2 things that would make this better if you ever plan to continue the game is make the moves look smooth so players don't think theyre lagging, and like another comment said, moving to a beat. Well done!
Thanks for checking out the game! I'm glad some people are noticing and appreciating the accessibility toggles. Those suggestions sound great for a future version, and might be the way I take it!
I like that the loops make the levels harder, but I got a bit stuck on the final level as I found it a bit hard to juggle all the tools in time and it's hard to see what's coming ahead. I had a good time nonetheless :3

Really cool gameplay concept, I really dig the idea! And I like the presentation style as well. The story was also pretty fun, it's funny to see how quickly it devolves and stops taking itself seriously lol. I struggled a bit with some of the controls, mostly with switching out the items, but I think this is a cool foundation nonetheless! Also, the ending was a pretty great addition c:

Thanks for checking out my game, guys! I'm glad you enjoyed parts of it, and it was very nice of you to leave a comment :)
I knew I wanted the game to end by 'breaking out of the loop', but couldn't think of a way to include a giant pair of magic scissors seriously, haha.
No problem, thanks again for making the game!
This could be combined with rhythm to make it more crunchy
Yeah, that might be a great way to take it in the future! Thanks for checking the game out!
creative puzzler! I enjoyed the incorperation of the theme into the narrative, nice work!
A good idea but I just couldn't really enjoy with the 1 second movement, it just felt unresponsive for me. Fit the loop theme great though!
Still, thanks for checking the game out!
A+ for creativity on this one! It took a bit to get used to the choppy movement, but once I got the hang of it, I started enjoying it. I found it a bit hard to see obstacles coming due to the overall dark aesthetic. I think some kind of contrast with the obstacles to make them stand out a bit would be helpful.
Good idea! I think it's a bit laggy in the browser for me. I loved the music.
Thank you! Yeah, it's a shame it's especially laggy in some browsers for some reason. Maybe something with the current version of 3D godot games, maybe something I did or didn't do while programming or exporting it. Still, thanks for checking it out and leaving a comment :)
Interesting premise :)) it does feel pretty laggy though, good idea overall!
Nice concept, the laggyness kinda threw me off in the start but overall it’s pretty cool!
