WHY!?
I believe itch is having some issues across the board. The game should run in most browsers though!
Aw, this game was soooo cute. I loved ascending into rockstar-dom as the audience kept growing and growing.
Thanks for playing!
We realised afterwards that there isn't actually any upper limit on critters... so feel free to see if you can break it with your giant audience! :D
Love how this theme is getting a lot of developers to explore music making as their core concept! nice work & i love raccoons!
Thanks for playing!
Our developer was a bit twitchy when I proposed a music making game has he has now music knowledge at all... All worked out well enough in the end and of course, racoons are the best. We tried to emulate BK from Donut County (check it out if you love sassy racoons).
I own it!
Really nice music creating game. Very cute art and great sounds. I felt like removing notes sometimes required me to click it multiple times.
Thanks for playing!
Lots of known bugs on release but hopefully nothing too game breaking...
What a cozy game! Appreciate the dialogs filled with humor and irony, made me smile the whole time I was reading them! Personally, have never seen anything like this, and it's the first time my music didn't sound so terrible 🙈😅
Good job!
Thanks for playing!
We did have a lot of fun being the voice of Mic the Racoon and asking ourselves "what would Mic say?".
He says "Hope you felt as skilled as the bassist of The White Stripes!"
Really fun execution! I love the artwork and I really enjoyed expanding on the music loop by adding little tents and stuff to run the festival!
Even though I'm not musically inclined, I did enjoy just messing around and making random notes! Lots of fun!
Thanks for playing!
Our artist is amazing, very lucky to have them on board. We used a pentatonic scale in d major to make it so anyone could just throw notes together and it would work (well enough...)
Very pretty art and a fun music looper. I liked the festival element of the game a lot. I feel like having attendance and tents really elevated this past just a music maker.
There is a bug with the drum critters. I couldn't erase them it without chucking the whole lot of em. The selective removal did not seem to work. But perhaps a testament to the rest of the game, this did not bother me at all.
Really cute game, thanks for sharing it!
Thanks for playing!
We did have a bunch of bugs in the music creator that got shunted below the aim of making the actual festival work! Some of the notes are extra spicy... (they have an entire song hidden in a couple).
Hopefully once the jam fatigue has lessened we'll give it a bit more polish :)
super cute game!
Really enjoyed them critters!
Thanks for playing! We love them critters too (even the NAN mouse :P)
Gosh I love those critters! Mixing a music game with an idler is a really cool idea. Gotta be honest, I didn't quite understand how all the systems worked and didn't manage to keep the festival alive for a single day, but I had fun playing with the music loop nonetheless. For some reason, the tent selection is cut off for me, even on my "large" monitor, not sure if that's just a small screen issue. I thought the lead instrument could have used another sound and some background foliage might have been nice, but I know, jam limitations.
Would be very interested to see if this could be taken to a larger-scale game, getting a whole band together would be awesome :D (also I would personally love not to be limited to the pentatonic scale, but I get why you did that)
Thanks for playing!
The tent menu bug happened at literally minutes before the deadline so we just had to let it go :'(
Our artist does create a lovely wholesome vibe, very lucky to have them on board :) There were a bunch of assets they created (like extra foliage etc) that we just couldn't get in due to it being such a challenging game to code and us all wrangling children under 2.
Hopefully when we've all cooled off from the jam we'll give it a bit more polish!
If you really liked the vibe check out our other demo on steam

Heh, yeah, I've very much enjoyed Squarepinski's jam version last year and been sorta following it since then, but I had not wishlisted it yet. Done!
It's a really great game, I loved the universe. Plus, it's pretty easy to make catchy music. Graphically it's super cute, it makes you want to play for those little creatures.
Thanks for playing! If you really love the universe we've got another game with similar vibes (but completely different concept) on steam ;)

We do love our wholesome critters :D
The artwork is gorgeous, the writing sassy, and that is enough for the furry businessman to wiggle his way into your heart. Then comes the engaging mesh of two great game mechanics, and the fun begins! I'd love to see the game polished up and finished, with everything the team imagined for it in play :>>
Thank-you! We had so much content to get in but completely ran out of time and almost killed off our developer in the process...
There was an encyclopaedia of critters, merch/food tents, Rocker/Hippie/Raver counters/mechanics, special band events etc etc...
Still happy with what we got done though! Thanks again for playing :)
Super cute game that I got to express my nonexistent musical skills. Well done!
Thanks for playing! :)
We used a d-major pentatonic scale so hopefully almost any notes the player threw together would make "music".
that raccoon is adorable!
Thanks! He turned up in concept on the final day and really tied everything together...
Was a bit of a non-game before he showed up XD
Very charming, and fun to use! It's not really clear if I'm supposed to be doing certain patterns with the music to get more berries, or what the tents do. But I had a lot of fun just making some jams!
Thanks for playing! :)
There was a lot of spreadsheet maths going into the whole berry system but in the end we decided to have it all hidden to encourage users to play as apposed to optimise. There was also food/merch tents but we ran out of time to implement them :'(
Fun concept with really, really lovely art! I didn't manage to get to day 2 of the festival even after a few attempts, but I enjoyed changing up my song over the course of the day. I'll give it another go shortly so I can get to that second day!
Thank for playing ! :)
I think it's only possible to get up to day 4 with the current set-up so you're halfway there!
Damn that nosy neighbour!
Had a lot of fun with this one. I was jamming out to my tunes by the end. A beat-maker mixed with cookie clicker is a REALLY smart idea. Never imagiend those two genres meshing so well together.
The art was cute. The dialogue was charming. And the gameplay leaves a smile on your face.
Excellent job!
Thanks for playing! :)
I'll be honest it was stuck as a beat-maker right up until the last day when it finally started to mesh! The critters kept us going through the first couple of days, big props to our artist.
Really impressed by how well this works - it's never easy to do without running in to sync issues, nice work!
Thanks for playing!
When I did push the concept of a beat-maker I could see our developer wince... but he's done an amazing job!
A very fun and intresting experince, liked the music making stuff
Thanks for playing!
Highly recommend Cakewalk if you want to get more into making music :) It's a much fancier/complex (but less cute) version of what we made :)
Pitched a tent. Made ear-bleedingly bad music. Watched the berries roll in. Job done. Love it.
Had my head wandering towards something like Trombone Champ paired with that festival building setup, "Racoon with a Basson" sort of vibe...
\m/_(>.<)_\m/ Rock on!
It's all about capitalising creativity right? RIGHT?
The Artwork is beautiful and cute and there is a lot of stuff to do! Had a lot of fun while trying it out. :) Thank you! Only critique: Sometimes it was a bit hard to remove sounds from the song without clicking in the wrong cell. But anyway, very nice!
Thanks for playing! :)
The whole thing is riddled with bugs as we pushed the last four or five versions with no playtesting... but hopefully we'll manage our time better next year! :D
No worries, I encountered nothing gamebreaking, and I think there is a lot of potential if you want to make the game into something bigger :)
