Fun game! Quick to learn but hard to master : ) it gets you hooked!
Very polished and a great concept!
Very TRON-y, very aesthetic. Loved cutting holes in the fabric of reality. As others said, it is a bit unintuitive what to do when running out of power, but it was still fast paced and hard to master. Great job!
You go fast when you run out of power! It is mentioned in the infographic in the description because we ran out of time to add controls in-game..
Nice style, I agree - too fast. I would run out of power and is it possible to get more?
Its mentioned in the description, you get more power by going fast (dragging the mouse farther from the bike)! The game really intends to be a fast-paced experience and I think it either clicks or it doesn’t unfortunately. Thanks for playing regarless!
Really good! Graphics are also great, one thing I would complain is the character moving too fast, I know you can slow it down by moving your cursor closer, but its still hard to collect heals, sometimes you'd or the enemy will the crash into you after less than 1 second on the screen. Great work though! :D
I’m a bit reluctant to engage feedback on the fast movement because it is a pretty core part of the game-play feel. I have also seen people on streams getting the hang of it in a couple of minutes (and others who weren’t able to, but this seems to be more of a ‘you either get it or you don’t’ thing). What you say about the enemies crashing into you is definitely a valid point. I think like the others suggested, a larger camera view would be a good solution to that. In any case, thanks for the feedback!
Really like the artwork, definitely tricky on trackpad (though you do state that, so that's on me) but it's definitely one of the better ones of the "loop the enemy" genre
One of my favorite games in this game, very nice game juice, very nice gameplay loop, and i love the speed!
The presentation is very slick. The game is hard at first but after I've got a hang of the controls it felt like the balance is spot on. It's very satisfying to make a loop around 2-3 enemies at once. The controls are also pretty novel. My main grip with the game would be the camera zoom being to close to for the speed. Great job either way!
Controls are quite hard, car goes really really fast regardless of where the mouse is 😅 I did manage to kill couple enemies in the end though! Did get much more fun the more I played! 😁
Its certainly got a bit of a learning curve. I’m glad you were able to get something out of it!
I had a lot of fun with this and the artwork fits it perfectly. It took me a few tries to get used to the controls and actually catch an enemy in a loop instead of just crashing into them, but once I did, I really enjoyed it!
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed.
The car feels so satisfying when it speeds up by moving the mouse, I love it. Subjectively I think zooming the camera a bit more would improve the gameplay and feel even more. Great game!
Glad you enjoyed! I’ve heard the same suggestion from multiple people, so I definitely think you’re onto something!
This is a really cool idea. It feels really good to speedup to close loops and the control scheme is very unique but works pretty well.
I love the tron vibes and the controls are hard at the start but actually very fun to drive around with. Hella funny to see my dumbass circkle around the same health pack 50 times instead of taking some distance and lining up properly.
The art style and visual polish is amazing. Also love the idea, reminds me of Tron!
The visuals of this game are so amazing! The controls took some time to get used to, but once i got the hand of it, it was really fun!
This could really be a Tron arcade game. Great stuff
sick as hell. i could see myself getting really into this, i wish the speed was a little more granular? like keep max speed and slowest speed the same but make the distance between them much farther. other than that its got a very cohesive aesthetic and i feel like theres a super high skill ceiling here, really great work.
Awesome game with a great throwback to Tron lightcycles! I love the 80s CRT look, and I'll echo another comment that some low-fi synthwave background music would be icing.
One suggestion would be a slightly larger hitbox on the pickup items. When you're moving fast it's really easy to twitch the mouse and shoot right by them.
Great game, I really enjoyed it. The movement was sometimes too fast for me, even though I tried to go slower, but that's what made it so fun. I started panicking and crashing into things, and I laughed a lot 😁 The only thing I would add is some background music.
