Absolute 10/10. It keeps you so, so hooked! Congrats on this amazing game. I haven't managed to finish it yet but I will come back to it for sure
Thank you so much! The game saves your progress, so you can continue on later if you would like. But otherwise. we're glad you liked it!
I've been playing entries to the GMTK jam for several years now and this has got to be the most consistent and well done atmosphere I've ever seen! I am actually so impressed, I love everything about this <3
Also such a cool and daring idea to go for a detective style game during a jam :) And to have it work out so well? Insane
That's incredibly high praise, thank you! Yeah, it was a bit of a risk going for a slower paced game, but we've been getting such lovely comment that I hope people are liking it! Thank you!
This is the best game I played, needs to get first place . I really love the concept, good job!
Wow, thank you so much! With so many teams entered, it's going to be a tough one to place in, but we're just happy that people seem to like ours!
Realy love the style of the game, everything is incredibly polished & well made. Can't believe you've made a game this good in just 4 days! Trying to figure out how to get the visitors of the train was really interesting, although what does the napkin with the crow drawing do?
Thank you so much! One of the Visitors is an artist, and a passenger in the carriage they're in says that he might want to get a piece signed. To banish the artist, you need to give them the Napkin. If you want to continue, the game saves your progress so you can jump back in. But otherwise, I hope you enjoyed what you played, and thank you again for the kind words!
This is crazy polished, entertaining, visually-striking, all the best words. You deserve way more eyes on this, and I hope you expand and flesh it out further
Wow, that's such a lovely comment! Yes, we're really proud of this one! With so many games, it's tough to stand out, but people seem to like it so we're happy with that!
Really impressive work. It’s incredible that you managed to put this together in such a short amount of time. The art is amazing and super polished, everything looked and felt so intentional.
The concept is super cool and really well executed. I’m also a big fan of the mostly greyscale palette with just a few pops of color, it adds so much style without being overwhelming.
The game has such a strong and unique vibe. Really well done!
That's really lovely to hear, thank you! We're really glad you enjoyed it!
Great art, concept, and animations! A really solid game overall, and surprisingly polished for a game jam. I think you could even make this into a full game! Keep up the great work :D
Thank you! We tried really hard to focus on polish this yeah, but as always it was a mad rush at the end! Glad you liked it!
It's a really cool concept and the art and audio and narrative are really amazing. Certainly deserves to be in the video.
However I ran into a softlock unfortunately! On what I think is the third or fourth cart, the one after you get the strange tissue with the crow on it, the first passenger started talking while the menu was still opened, then when I clicked chat, the conversation stopped and I wasn't able to move or talk anymore. I had to close the game unfortunately :(
I'll definitely check it out later again though!
Thank you for the lovely response!
That bug seems quite unfortunate though, and as you can expect, there wasn't time to stress test this! But thank you for letting us know!!! Thankfully, closing and reopening the game still maintains all your progress so you should be able to continue. Glad you seem to be enjoying it!
Oh that's great then I can try again later! :)
By the way, it would be awesome if you can also rate my game?
Sure thing! Thanks again for checking out ours!
5/5 best game I've played so far, keep it up! This one is the winner for me!!!!
Thank you so much! This means a lot to us, so glad you enjoyed it!
Great art and mechanics! Really dig the manual style of gameplay!!
Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
Fun and polished, almost doesn't feel like a game jam at all! The first visitor is a great introduction to the games mechanics through gameplay. I might have done a few more loops than I needed because of bad eye for detail though :( supervisor my behated
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The graphics and atmosphere are simply mind-blowing. Well done for achieving this in such a short time, it's amazing!
Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
I love the graphic style, it's exactly what I had in mind for my game but I don't have your talent.
A really cool experience, bravo!
Thank you for your kind words!
Absolutely incredible, 5/5 across the board.
Loved the art style and it felt really polished. Don't think it needs a tutorial due to the nature of the game but did struggle with how to unlock more of the information in the manual and couldn't seem to get past the supervisor despite (thinking) I'd done everything else!
Would 100% play again and would love to see it developed further :)
Wow! Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed! Your comment is really kind!
Yeah the information unlocks were something we didn't quite have time for unfortunately but it sounds like you got most of the way!
For a bit of help, the supervisor kills you if you haven't fined all the passengers correctly, there are two visitors with incorrect tickets and three other passengers! :)
Hey, that artwork is great! I really like the idea, I would love to see it fleshed out even more, but pretty deep already. I had a hard time understanding exactly how to handle some of the interactions, but it's a nice touch to have the manual!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it! We wanted a more complex dialogue system but obviously time didn't allow!
love the art! took some figuring out what to do, very cool!
Thanks for playing! Yeah we didn't have enough time for tutorials so sorry about that!
The art is so sick and the story seems so interesting! Unfortunately it crashed before i was able to continue, but I would love to play more!
Ah man that sucks! What platform were you on? We didn't experience any crashes ourselves so sorry we couldn't prevent that :( Thank you for playing though and at least you got to see our Artists hard work :)
good idea, could have been better executed and made better use of looping as a mechanic. beautiful art and premise though
Thanks for playing!
Really enjoyed this one, I love the artwork and style and I love the game's concept!
Thank you very much! I'm flag you like it :)
Beautiful art style, everything is composited wonderfully, and I love the animations of the characters! Impressive work for the short time you were given.
Thank you so much! I'm flag you liked it :)
