Interesting concept and what you've got so far in the UI looks good. Dragging the line to connect mods is satisfying. Hope you continue work on it!
Shame you didn't get to finish this, looks like it might turn into an interesting game! Hope you keep working on this after the jam :)
The animations are pretty fluid! I really think this has potential to be expanded even further! I'm excited to see where this goes!
This is a great idea for a game! While I love the strictness of the time limit for encouraging fast creativity sometimes it feels like it robs us from seeing some amazing concepts come to life. I hope you stick with this as I would love to see where it goes!
It's got the idea for a VERY cool game, being able to buy mods and 'code' your way through the game
Conceptually this feels like a really good game, and with more options and mods I can absolutely see how this would come together. I see how the loop plays, I found the visual style to be very tight and well made overall. I would love to see this game continue development in the future.
Congrats on making it to the end of the jam!
This game has massive potential. I can definitely see it being a compelling game. Thanks for submitting to the stream, VOD here.
Looking at it as a concept and a prototype it looks really fun. It's a really creative take on the theme too! I'd love to play the full game if you'll make it someday! Good job!
Also I'd appreciate it if you took a look at my game too :D
This could be incredible when finished. I would recommend playing the Clover Pit demo on steam to see what you can take from it without stepping on its toes if you've haven't heard of or played it yet. Its a slot machine roguelike with mods, but they aren't as in depth as this could be. Still, its great and you should def look into it! Great idea!
I know you didn't get to finish but from what you have its looking like a really good idea and I am excited to see updates in the future! :)
Thank you, I am hoping it will work haha, there are a lot of unknowns with this idea.
This has so much potential!! I'm a big fan of Luck Be A Landlord and this gave me a similar feel. I saw that the gameis not finished but I highly recommend you do finish it! The little you have feels fun and engaging! Good job!
Thanks, that's what I was hoping to achieve just didn't quite get there yet :D Your feedback is great to hear, and keeps me motivated to keep expanding the game further :D
I wish this was more complete!!! The mechanics seem like they would be so fun to expand upon. The idea of connecting blocks to generate huge numbers is very appealing. Would love to see a more finished version.
Thank you! I'm definitely interested in expanding on the idea to see where it can go. I have a feeling balancing will be difficult, but we will see :D
Looks like a fun concept! I wish it was a bit more put together. The aesthetic is SUPER nice tho!
Thanks! I also wish I managed to put more in but I'm glad I got the prototype out at least, to test the concept
I really like the concept. I think it has the potential to really be a fun game. Reminds me a lot of the Zachtronic games. Sad that it is unfinished and you can't explore multiple setups.
Thanks! I'll have to look into that. I am glad you liked it despite the lack of content for now. I'll be expanding the game after the jam :D
Were it expanded, this would be very fun! It was a little unclear how to play at first (the slot machine looked a little like a calculator,) but I think it's an interesting proof of concept.
Haha, thanks! It is true it does not look like a slot machine just yet :D I'll be continuing the game after the jam to see where it can go.
Although the game is unfinished I really like the concept. I hope you can continue on expanding this and would look forward to playing a finished version.
As for feedback on the UI, I like the node side of the game, I also liked the icon art and the overall aesthetic. However, I think the slot machine could be improved, as now it looks more like an inventory screen.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! I will try and expand the game after the jam, I still have quite a few ideas. I agree that the 'slot machine' is not one just yet haha, I'll do something about that.
If the game is expanded more Enjoyment will blast to the roof! but Awesome game goodluck!
Thanks! I sure hope so :D
very good idea!! , you should expand it to a full game
Thank you, glad to hear that! I will certainly try to do that
This is great!!! Love the visual style and interacting with the nodes is already really satisfying! (It's subtle, but I love the little jiggle you gave the nodes when you move them) :D Some nice little sound fx will make this even more satisfying...
I can completely relate to the not finished part. *cries* But this already shows so much potential, and I can only imagine how many diff systems you had to write before even making it to this point. :O Crazy impressive for a short jam!!
Love the mix of node graph + casino slot machine. Feels very sandboxy too. You only have so many nodes so far, but I still found myself tinkering with it a while. Love it.
Thanks a bunch! You know it, there was so much to do before I could start making the mods themselves I only made a few. The code is horrible tbh, but still happy I got it to work and could try out how my idea would work! I had way more mods I wanted to add so I'll keep playing around with it and see where it goes, thanks for your feedback!
Lotta marks for creativity - I can see what you were getting at, but it would've taken a lot more content/nodes to drive it home. Art has a lotta juice too! :)
For sure! Thanks a lot! I had quite a lot of ideas for mods I wanted to add, but just figuring out how to get the connection and mod system running took so much time I could only implement a few. Oh well :)
