How does your game fit the theme?
I went for the sort of Resource-Manager type of game. Every single action in this game costs you something, ranging from a tool, material or perhaps food, water or energy.

Self-made & used stuff

Assets (e.g. free or owned)

Anything else you'd like to share about your game or development process?
I want to let everyone know that this version is extreme bare bones. I was really short on free time and had to submit 2 days earier as I'm going away and not taking my notebook. As I mentioned in the description, I might do a full remake in the future.

still very basic and with no clear objective but its a good start for a great text based apocalyptic game! Keep updating it ^^

Thank you very much! :)

The project, if completed, has real potential to become a fantastic game. Instead of the current gameplay, it could work well as a text-based experience or with very simple art. However, seeing a screen like this gives me hope that it could evolve into a full 2D or 3D game. I'm confident that with more time and development, this game could grow into something much bigger.

Developer

Thank you so much! The remake is going to be still UI-Based, but I want to implement more choices, than just mindless clicking.

I can relate to the lack of a finished product 'cause of deadlines, crunchtime is real. I'm sure you know what needs improvement, and I congratulate you on submitting what you had

Developer

Thank you so much! Yep, I for sure know what the game needs! :)

Overall a barebones text based game. I hope this gets made into a completed one, it has good potential.

Developer

Thank you! The development of the whole game has already started :)

Definitely feel the eerie post-apocalyptic vibe from the assets you've scavenged! Some more art/animations would be cool to see in the next version as it feels a little like the menu of a game right now.  Good luck!

Thank you very much for these kind words! :)

Honestly, I wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to do. First I hunted a rabbit, then I went to gather trash?? I slept, ate the rabbit meat (which somehow decreased my stats). I couldn’t figure out how crafting works either. Tried to fight a bear but failed. Then, somehow, I died at the end of Day 3. The sounds are a bit loud, but they have a cool vibe. I’m sure that with more development time, this game would definitely find its audience!

Thank you very much for this comment. Yes, the game has many flaws and I should have created some tutorial. There are stil bugs as my dev time was quite limited due to end of school and the evens around it. Im making a remake, which will kill these flaws, remake the whole game and make it way better. Thanks again for the comment :)

The game is good and even with the minimalistic art style it's the perfect small game you'd see in a gamejam like this,by the way it's pretty hard LOL,i really liked the sound effects, will probably play it more and try to avoid dying on day 2,overall,great game!

Developer

Thank you SO MUCH for this feedback!! It warmed my heart so much! :) Btw, the development for the remake has already started :D. It will have x times more content, but will probably take me months  to fninh. I set my goal to try it to finish this summer holiday, so Ill see :). Again, thank you so much for the kidn words :
