How does your game fit the theme?
Helium keeps you afloat. But you can sacrifice your stores to float away from foul creatures. Also scavenge the skies for burgers, beers and secret tracks.
Easter Egg Challenge
While in the tutorial press (e) while your cursor is over Balloon Billy (lawn chair) to see the world from his view and skip to a secret level.

The first balloons were made of animal bladders. The first known Whoopee Cushion dates back to a particularly silly Tunisian Emir of the 10th century.

Hey, great artstyle, loved the background and the main character artwork! The game was also fun to play, collecting burgers and beer! I think it aligned well with the theme as well. 'F' to fart was funny :D There was a minor bug in one of the times i played where the helium was negative.. also i didnt really understand the side scrolling minigame of sorts which came up a few times after i played the main game.. But overall, well done, I had fun :)
The orca and hedgehog characters reminded me of something out of 12 oz. Mouse (not sure if that was intentional), but I really liked them! Overall, the game is good—some polish would definitely help, but the core idea works. I was a bit confused when more clowns started spawning—wasn't sure if that was a bug or part of the design.
It's a fun game with cool graphics and an interesting concept. Sometimes it's unclear what's happening, but that's just a minor issue. However, the physics of moving on balls can be challenging, as it's difficult to control the direction of the flight. Despite these challenges, the game is definitely worth trying!
Much obliged Turbo! I am glad you got some enjoyment out of the carnival of chaos even with the flawed physics. Newton's fifth law of thermodynamics was going to be on clown flatulence, but alas I must continue the research myself.
The art was good! The theme was wild.
It was quite confusing to me. I enjoyed the music and the artwork! The tutorial wasn't particularly informative on what the goal was though.
Mucho gracias Duckman! I agree that we need a modus operandi for the sky clowns. Perhaps in a better tutorial level.
NICE
I love the theming and art! Especially as you made it all yourself in such a short time. The gameplay's quite satisfying too :D After my first run, pressing restart would put me back in the tutorial and completing that would put me back on the game over screen so I had to refresh the page every time i wanted to retry. Other than that one thing, it's great!
Excellent the exterminator appreciates the high-quality information. Thanks for taking the time to play and help make it more betta!
I like the concept of the game, very weird! Encountered a few bugs too like others mentioned, but other than that no complaints 🤡
At first the game felt weird and took me a while to understand the game. But then suddenly i dont know there were many player like me and couldn't understand which one is me and then died. I don't if that was a bug or that was part of the design. Other than that good job!
I have heard of that bug unfortunately... Trust me here at Balloon Corp that is the number one patch I'll be rolling out. Appreciate the playthrough!
This is a strange one, but I guess in a good way. Like, more games should feature farting clowns, that grow uncontrollably.
What I think this game needs, is to show you how much points you got on the game over screen. Better yet- online leaderboard!
One more thing- I just love the face on Billy. You just know, he had a hard day at work and has enough of this baloon-flying-clown crap!
Good job!
One thing I really liked about this game was the unique art style and music. From this page, I can see that you made them yourself, which is especially impressive considering you only had 10 days to make this game! The art style is very creative, and it's clear you spent a lot of time on this - nice work!
One issue I had right off the bat was the screen resolution, which was really zoomed out for some reason. I couldn't read the whole menu, and when I refreshed the page, there was no way I could resize it. This made the gameplay quite difficult to understand, and I wish I could have played the game in the intended way.
I also noticed other bugs, as on the first level, I immediately just floated up into a void of nothingness, from which I couldn't escape. I was really interested in the game and would have loved to see more of the level! Because of this, it was hard for me to get a cohesive grip on the objective and mechanics of this game.
Despite this, I can see this has a lot of potential! You are clearly a skilled graphics designer and clearly know how to present a unique, out-of the box game. For the next step, I'd recommend sorting out these bugs and adding more polishing details, to allow this game to shine in its full glory!
Cheers! Truly appreciate those words of wisdom and hope to use them to bring the game to its proper glory! I am going to make sure to squash these dirty damn Billy bugs. Sorry for your unpleasant experience in a void. Bal
Alas, I was cast under the spell of the evil WIzard Procrasticus. So too easy for me to spend most those jam days on art.
I really liked the artstyle, everything looks great, the idea is very interesting and the concept of the game is very good and original. I only encountered a few bugs but other than that everything is fine. Congratulations :D
I understood the gameplay concept and thought it was a good idea! However, I did run into a few glitches — at one point, I think I fell into the void and wasn’t sure what triggered it. The gameplay also felt a bit difficult for me, possibly because of my browser resolution — it didn’t fit the screen properly. The movement could use some refinement as well, but I’m sure with time and polish, this could turn into something really awesome. It’s a very interesting idea — great job so far!
Thank you and appreciate the playtest! I hope you have since then escaped the void!
