How does your game fit the theme?
The entire game is inside the same bedroom, and the fish is trapped in a fishbowl which is its own tiny room it can't escape.

The game started as a complete joke. I was wondering how far player would go to reach the top of a leaderboard with the least interesting challenge possible. I ended up adding narration, and easter eggs to make it somewhat interesting for everyone :)
Are you entering the "Best 3D Model Design with UModeler X" optional prize?

i smell LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE
why is there a goldfish at super sonic speed???
how can it use telekinesis????
who is this person talking to us????
i love this game and everything about it
also does the leaderboard actuly work or is it just decorative?
The lore runs deep in the fishbowl... 🌊
- That supersonic speed is just what happens when a goldfish reaches its full potential.
- It’s not telekinesis, it’s just pure fish willpower.
- The narrator? I don't know, who even put that fish in this room ??
Thank you so much for the kind words! And yes, the leaderboard is 100% real and functional. You can compete with all the most elite fish in the world! 🐟✨
I've embraced the boredom...
Seriously tho, it was great experience, your game design skills are truly remarkable
I am fish, and I approve this game.
Very zen game :D
The graphics are cute and the music is relaxing. I like how there is still some skill needed to swim with the goldfish, but I eventually fell into a rhythm :) Great submission that fits the theme perfectly !
i swear i was staring to feel like a goldfish and i played that mini game more than i should have lol. Really chill expereince and does what it says in the title - simulate the life of a goldfish haha. The art was really well made, loved the day night cycle, it really did feel like a room in a house. The music also added to the atmosphere and was one of the reasons i wanted to stay a bit longer. The little narration at the bottom is a nice touch! Well done on this :)
This is the best one room in a room
Pretty cool and silly little experience, very unique take on the theme, nice entry! Love the stylized look on the models, makes everything feel very cozy. Being able to click on different objects around the room was a great design decision and added a lot to the overall game play, I loved being able to play the fishy jumper game on the computer at the same time as controlling the fish in the bowl. I found the actual fish controller to be pretty difficult to get a hang of and a bit frustrating, but that could just be a skill issue and I'm sure is part of the appeal to many other people.
The piano music in the background is a nice touch and adds to chill vibes, the other room sfx (like the metronome) produce a similar effect. Some bubbly/watery sounds for the fish swimming would have been a nice addition too. I think your take on the theme is one of the best I've seen in the jam so far, the confines of the fish bowl work perfectly with the meme-y gameplay and fit the theme, and in addition, the player is located in one room with interactable objects. So you killed two fish with one stone there, kudos.
I think this was a very nice jam experience, and I think you should be proud of the unique game you created. Keep up the good work!!
Visually stunning game that really calms you down trough the setting, music and gameplay. Would've loved if there was more to do in the bowl itself, but it felt perfect for a short game jam experience. Encouraging you to explore all the actions there are in the room. Very cool entry!
A relaxing game yes, and the references and interaction also great, playing the jumping dino while making my fish kept swimming was awesome experience! Simplistic gameplay and beautiful and amazing art, the music really calms you up. A perfect game for those who have anxiety. Absolutely amazing 10/10!
So cool game! My only thing I don't like is that it takes so long to complete a loop :/ I love the sound/music, and stuff you can interact with in the room! It would be cool to add more interactible items!!
I don't think loops take that long when you reach enough speed to get 10+ laps per second! Of course you need to get there and it requires some practice 😉
Thank you for the feedback :)
neat little game
Can get a bit boring as there isnt much to strive for. I wish there were more unique, fun ways to make the score go up quicker. Room looks awesome!! I love the fish jump and the text lines when you click stuff, especially when you click the drawer alot hehe
Great job on the game!
Very original entry with awesome visuals and art direction. The premise of a goldfish stuck in the same bowl in the same room fits the theme perfectly. Sure there are only a few things to do, but it triggers the drive to explore to see what all the interactions are. And it drives the boredom and monotony of being a goldfish home in a very real way.
Impressive peace of art, kudos!
The atmosphere was lovely; the lights, music, and visuals created a calm mood. The little surprises in the room—playing a game on the PC, switching the lights, playing the guitar—made the experience enjoyable. The constant looping movement felt a bit repetitive after a while, but overall it’s a solid experience with great theme alignment. Well done!
Nice and relaxing. Great visually and calming audibly. There's no way you're tricking me into doing 500 laps around that fish bowl.
I just wish I had more to aim for beyond exploring the things in the room and chasing that 500 laps mark. The minigame on the computer is a nice touch but I had my fill pretty quickly.
Great use of the theme and great work with all the easter eggs!
Initially I set the goal to 1000, but I ended up lowering it to 500 😅. With the optimal swimming technique, you can actually reach it in less than 2 minutes!
I was expecting that some player would want more things to do in the game. This is a game about boredom. I think it reached its goal :)
Pretty cool game! Loved the visuals and I really how there's a game in a game which is super cool. The music is super nice and really fits the atmosphere.
One main point which makes this game so good is a leaderboard which I think is a super cool idea as it gives players an incentive to keep on going.
Overall super fun game and enjoyed playing it
2233 full laps! Can I already consider myself an expert at being a goldfish?
The game's atmosphere is incredibly pleasant. As I mentioned on Discord, I really like the visual style, and I think it fits perfectly with the overall concept.
The gameplay is simple, but there's something fun about going around in circles, especially when the fish starts losing speed control and spins insanely fast (at one point it got so fast that the fish’s 3D model bugged out and started spinning backward, haha).
The point score system is undoubtedly the heart of the game, adding another reason to keep looping around and creating a healthy sense of competition.
The references in the game were well-placed, and they’re all visually appealing, fitting nicely with the room’s theme. There’s never a feeling that something was added just to fill space or was there by accident.
The addition of the PC fish mini-game was also interesting. There was a moment when I kept looping around while focusing on the mini-game. The experience remained smooth since I used the mouse, so I could easily keep spinning without any issue.
Overall, it’s a very enjoyable game. It’s amazing what you managed to do in 30 hours. The environment feels very alive, and the day-night cycle really enhances the immersion.
Congrats on the project, and best of luck in the jam!
2233 laps is crazy
I think i got the gold medal ;-) Original idea and fun experience.
I saw you are the first player to reach 500 score. Congratulation you elite fish !! ✨🐟✨
me. fish.
I am fish
Is this a test? Like are you trying to test how high can you go with game, that has beautiful graphics (the shader is just delicious!), relaxing music, day-night cycle, a minigame, that's more engaging than the actual game.
Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the prettiest game in the whole jam. Sounds great too!
Seriously, am I playing this wrong? Is there more to it than swimming in circle? Is there something that happens after 500 rounds? Because Im willing to place something heavy on the keyboard to find out :)
Over all... if there was a reward for MOST CONFLICTING FEELINGS you would just get it now!
It looks like nobody has mastered the art of swimming yet, but with proper technique, you can actually reach 500 turns in only 1.5 minutes! What a shame nobody commented on the extremely high skill ceiling of the gameplay!
I knew this was a silly idea from the beginning, but I wanted to see how dedicated the players could be on a game that is made to be boring! And also to challenge myself to make a good game from a silly idea 😂
Yup, I pulled to 500, and you can speed up to crazy speed!
Well done ! ✨🐟✨
Love the Toon Graphics!
Thank you! It took me 3 days (after work) to get the style I wanted. I'm glad the efforts were worth my time!
