How does the game fit the theme?
Not only do you have to risk it literally by platforming and grappling, but you are literally risking it for a golden biscuit!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music by Kevin Macleod, SFX from pixabay.

Super fun gameplay! Felt like spider man collecting biscuits. You have a lot of flexibility with the hook shot mechanic even without collecting the biscuits. Amazing implementation of the theme. Good entry! Well done. Also, I died a lot lol.
Glad you liked it! Yeah the game's pretty tough lol.
Thank you for playing!
I love that there is a "Sh*t" graphical setting but unfortunately the game is unplayable when I use that setting, because the grappling hook doesn't work then.
Anyways, that game is good, nice work!
Weird, it should only effect graphical quality and not input. Thank you for playin! I'll look into it <3
It's not just on the "Sh*t" setting, but it seems that when the graphics quality is lowered, it causes an offset between the mouse's position and the grappling hook's target zone

Very strange. Thank you for the details! It's very much appreciated.
This game is a solid platforming with old school 3D visuals! There's no fancy mechanics (Love the grapple mechanic) but all of that had strong feedback! And i want to shout out the level, it's punishing, but rewarding at the same time! Great game!
Glad you liked it! Old school is still cool haha. Thanks for playin!
Bro this game is really really polished. Excelent game in here, everything works well, the grappling system is really useful and fun to use, the visuals are pretty good and the level design is the cherry on top. Excelent levels and fun game. Great lesson of level design.
It took a lot of research to make the levels. Level design is hard lol. Thank you for playing!
This is a well made game though with a level of that works in its favor. Music, art and SFX all fit the vibe of the game so it's well done. Would be neat if the game somehow slowly roll out its lessons and introduces the various techniques that would be great. Control feels great but it proves to be quite hard for me, wasn't able to get very far in level 2 :<
Haha yeah the game gets pretty tough pretty quick. More levels to introduce new techniques would fix this lol.
Thank you for playing! <3
This is quite a well made game. The mechanics are simple and fun, the artstyle fits and levels are nicely designed. It also has Kevin Macleod's music lmao. Honestly it felt quite complete and I wouldn't even think it is a jam game if I hadn't know it. The only problem I had was with the length changing because my mouse wheel doesn't work properly, but I managed to fling myself by grappling as far as I can.
Haha glad you made it work. If we had more time I would've added keybind options. Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it <3
Hard but addictive :)
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you for playin. <3
Reminded me of quake vibes. Platformers aren't my thing but I could tell there was an impressive amount of polish for a 2 person team!
The lives left counter does nothing as far as I can tell.
Oh it does. It displays the lives. Unless it bugged for you or something.
Thank you for playing! <3
Maybe it bugged for me, I said that because I ran out and it just reset the counter
Game was very cool! Loved the art style and the felt like you accomplished a fairly large game in a short amount of time
It was a lot of work but it was also well worth it!
Thank you so much for playing <3
This was fantastic! Grappling hooks are always fun to mess with :) My only complaint was that holding left click and also scrolling the wheel was a bit difficult at times. Had a lot of fun bouncing around though!
Glad you liked it! Yeah one thing we should've added were some accessibility options.
Thank you for playing!
Ha yeah, but we only had a week so what can you do :)
Great game, this deserve more ratings! So much fun 😄 missed it by this much 👌
hahaha you were RIGHT there!
Thank you so much for playin!
Really liked the core mechanic with the swinging and rope. The music was very epic and fit the game well.
I like that you didn't just reset the gathered cookies after one death, that would have a bummer!
Good job!
Here's an interesting tid-bit. The life system was one of the last additions and was added on the last day!
It sure saved the balancing haha.
Thank you for playin!
Pretty cool game! gameplay is fun. Just wished there was an option to invert the scroll input, as I was getting confusing with it. Not big deal.
Overall pretty awesome game with good potential!!
Ah it's always the small things that improve user experience the most lol. Will do!
Thank you for playing!
The cutscenes, visuals, mechanics, all are polished really nicely.
The gameplay is especially fun, once you learn how it works it becomes fluid, Well done.
Glad you liked it! Thank you for playing <3
The controls feel perfect and I love the cutscene at the beginning. This feels like something I would play on an area PS2 arcade collection in the best way possible. The only issue I had was the reticule sometimes needed to be off-screen to make some of the grapples I wanted but it didn't break the game in any way. Great stuff!
Thanks for playing! Yeah that's something we'll work on. Appreciate the feedback!

Biscuit Dungeon controls like a dream once you get past the learning curve. Shout out to the team for being fellow Godot developers! Love everyone in the Godot community. Another thing I liked: there's lots of content for a game jam submission... I counted 4 levels, and the last 2 are no picnic... Jah bless 🙏🙏
Haha glad you enjoyed! The controls were a top priority from day 1 to day 7 haha.
Godot for life! Thanks for playin! <3
A fun game, the sense of risk is really awesome, it's special
Glad you liked it! Thank you for playing. <3
This game is heat. Visually looks great. Speedrun potential is really good, the deaths are hilarious and brutal at the same time. Just the right level of punishing. Very smooth to play and the core mechanics are nicely polished. One of my favorites so far.
It means a lot to hear that! Thank you for playin! Can't wait to play your game, it looks incredible. <3
Incredible to think this was made in 7 days, seasoned jammers I see, the game's visuals and sound design are beautiful I really enjoyed looking at it and playing it, phenomenal job guys!
Thank you for playing! Yeah this was our 3rd game jam. Lots of love! <3
Really dig the PS1 vibe of this one, and grappling around the levels is really addicting. Brutal deaths too. Can imagine it being a great game to speed run.
